Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Bahrain’s winning of the presidency of the Executive Committee of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer for the year 2022.
Al Saleh the first Gulf achievement of its king since the ratification of Montreal Protocol in 1987, hailing the support and follow-up of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He also praised the continued efforts undertaken by HM the King’s Personal Representative, Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE), His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the international level.
