President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has instructed the government to increase the income tax exemption limit to EGP 36,000 annually instead of EGP 24,000.

The measure is part of the state’s efforts to mitigate the effects of the world economic crisis on citizens, said Presidential spokesman Ahmed Fahmy on Sunday.
