President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed on Thursday 4/8/2022 the State to pay part of fees of fresh students at national universities and to continue to offer full scholarships for outstanding students.
Sisi’s instructions came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli, Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, and presidential Advisor for health affairs Mohamed Awad Tageldin, presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The meeting reviewed the executive status of several presidential initiatives in the health and higher education sectors, Radi added.
The president instructed to offer incentive packages for doctors and introduce a financial system that will help in raising their incomes and improving their work environment.
He also ordered to offer perks for doctors working in rare specialties and remote areas.
During the meeting, Sisi reviewed the latest developments concerning the COVID-19 vaccination program nationwide as well as other presidential health initiatives along with updates on achieved goals.
