President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted on Friday that the Egyptian people highly appreciate all efforts and sacrifices made by the Armed Forces to defend the security and safety of the homeland.

This came during his meeting with army commanders after performing Friday prayers at El Mosheer Tantawi Mosque in New Cairo’s Fifth Settlement district where he greeted the Armed Forces on the occasion of the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory.

During the meeting, the president saluted that Armed Forces servicemen for their great efforts to preserve the security and stability of the nation and help it attain more progress and stability.

The meeting with the military top brass tackled a number of local, regional and international issues especially in light of the current political and economic developments worldwide as well as Egypt’s efforts to serve stability and development in the region.

The Friday prayers were attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Osama Askar, Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb, Egypt’s Mufti Shawqi Allam, the ministers of interior, justice, local development and Awqaf in addition to the minister of state for military production and Cairo governor.
