Barcelona – In Barcelona, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albarez has called upon the international community to actively work towards the establishment of a Palestinian state. According to a report by Euronews, Albarez made this statement on Monday during the eighth regional forum of foreign ministers of the Union for the Mediterranean. The forum, co-chaired by Jordan and the European Union, focused on issues affecting the Mediterranean region, including the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

During his address at the forum, Albarez emphasized the necessity of establishing a Palestinian state as a crucial step for ensuring peace in the region. He insisted that any response from Israel must adhere to international law, highlighting the importance of avoiding actions that result in the loss of innocent lives.
