Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir asserted that the industry of spinning and weaving is one of the main industrial sectors in the national economy that contribute to meeting the needs of the local market and exports of the regional and international markets.
Samir’s remarks came during his meeting with members of the Textile Industries Chamber of the Federation Of Egyptian Industries (FEI).
Samir said that the Ministry of Trade is keen on presenting all aspects of support to the sector of spinning and weaving.
The meeting reviewed the opportunities of developing the sector to contribute to increasing the productivity and boosting the exports in the regional and international markets in addition to discussing a number of challenges facing the sector and finding solutions for them, he said.
