Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi has lauded the unprecedented achievement made by the Egyptian men’s table tennis team after they qualified for the round of 16 at the 2022 World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals.
The tournament is held in China from September 30 to October 9.
The sports minister wished the Egyptian team success in the next round.
In the group stage, Egypt defeated Saudi Arabia 3/0, Canada 3/0 and the Czech Republic 3/1 while only losing to the Republic of Korea 1/3.
