A number of Palestinians suffocated today after inhaling tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces during confrontations that erupted in the village of Beit Dajan to the east of Nablus, and the town of Beita to the south, according to Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Palestinian Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Department.

He told WAFA that at least five Palestinians suffered from tear gas suffocation as Israeli forces cracked down on the weekly anti-settlement rally in Beit Dajan.

Five others were also treated from tear gas suffocation during clashes with Israeli forces in the town of Beita. They were all treated at the scene.
