Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ storming the city and camp of Jenin in Palestine, that claimed ten of lives and injuring others.

“Israel, the occupying power and its terrorist government, adds this massacre to its history of acts of aggression and killing, taking advantage of the impunity umbrella provided by successive US administrations,” the Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement.

The statement denounced the extreme disregard for international law and the flagrant double standards of the United States and Israel.

The statement called on United Nations member states to take urgent measures to put an end to Israeli crimes and aggression.

The statement noted that “Israel must be held responsible for these crimes and implement the United Nations resolutions that call for an end to the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories, mainly resolutions 242, 338 and 497.”
