Syria, Cuba discuss prospects to open new horizons for trade cooperation

Syria and Cuba have discussed prospects to open new horizons for trade relations between the countries.

That came during a meeting between Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba Dr. Idris Mayya and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, Antonio Carricartea at the headquarters of the Chamber on Wednesday evening.

Means to develop economic relations and trade exchange between the two countries were the main points of discussion during the meeting.

Mayya, for his part, shed light on the strong willingness of the two countries to enhance the bilateral cooperation, particularly in light of the current circumstances facing them due to the unjust siege imposed by the US and its partners.
