Syria is cradle of civilizations, Czech journalist says

“Syria is the cradle of Human civilizations as it is characterized by its ancient, beautiful and diverse monuments,” Czech academician and journalist, Lenka Kabrhelova has said.

A reportage entitled “Syria is recovering” was published in the last editon of “People and Countries” magazine, specialized in tourism and travel, has included 10 colored photos taken from Maaloula, Palmyra, the Great Umayyad Mosque, Homs and Damascus.

In the reportage, Kabrhelova said that Syria is “the cradle of cultures and civilizations,” but unfortunately its monuments and cultural heritage have been sabotaged at the hands of terrorist organizations.

Despite the suffering and challenges facing Syrian people, including the unilateral coercive measures imposed on them, they are still generous and friendly people who aspire for a better future, Kabrhelova added.

Kabrhelova, who lately visited Syria, gave a lecture entitled” Syria is recovering” at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Olomouc City University, talking about what she has seen in the ancient country.
