Syria obtains gold medal in Petanque throwing at West Asian Paralympic Games of Bahrain

Syrian national team player, Khalil Mahmoud, obtained gold medal in the Petanque throwing competition at the West Asian Paralympic Games currently held in the Bahraini capital of Manama.


Meanwhile, Syrian wounded players Firas Shiha, Amer Sammour and Issa Hassan passed the first round of the badminton competition.

700 male and female players with special needs who represent 12 teams compete in seven sports within this tournament.

” Wounded of Homeland” project is participating with the Syrian national team for special sports for the first time.
