Syria, Oman discuss enhancing health relations

Omani Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, discussed with Syrian Health Minister Dr. Hassan  al-Ghabbash the bilateral relations between two brotherly  countries and means to enhance them , particularly in health domains.

 

During the meeting, Al Said expressed heartfelt wishes for the Syrian leadership and the brotherly people, Oman News Agency (ONA)  said Sunday.

 

In turn, Dr. al-Ghabash conveyed cordial greetings from President Bashar al-Assad to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman.

 

The two sides reviewed the existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of health care and treatment services and the desire to benefit from the Omani experience in facing the pandemic within the framework of the public health care system.

 

The meeting also dealt with the latest developments on the regional and international arenas and the efforts exerted to deal with them in order to achieve common interests.

 

Dr. al-Ghubbash expressed Syria’s appreciation over the fraternal stances of the Sultanate of Oman towards Syria.
