Syria registers 258 new COVID-19 cases, 6 fatalities

Damascus, 258 new coronavirus cases, 85 recoveries and 6 deaths were reported in Syrian on Sunday, according to the Health Ministry.

 

A statement issued by the ministry showed that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria till now has reached up to 43,404, of which 26,373 cases have recovered, and 2,566 others have passed away.

 

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month.
