Damascus,SANA-Syria reiterated on Sunday its deep regret over the disastrous floods that hit Pakistan, urged the international community to speed up the necessary humanitarian aids.

An official source at the ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriate said in a statement “the Syrian Arab News Republic reiterates its deep sorrow on the disastrous floods that hit Pakistan and claimed innocent souls and caused huge material damages”.

“Syria expresses sympathy with Pakistan at both the official and public levels and calls the international community to speed up the delivery of the necessary humanitarian aids to save the souls of children, women and elderly people” the source added.

“Syria extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the Pakistani government, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured” the source concluded.

Syria expressed, earlier this month, condolences and sympathy to Pakistan over the victims of floods and torrential rains in different cities of the country.
