Syria reports 5 new COVID-19 cases, two fatalities on Saturday

Syria recorded on Saturday 5 new coronavirus cases, 62 recoveries and two fatalities, according to a statement by Health Ministry.

The statement showed that the overall number of infections registered in Syria has reached up to 55,706, of which 51,713 have recovered, while 3,144 have passed away.

In March 2020, the first coronavirus case was detected in Syria.
