Syria, UNESCO to cooperate in teaching artificial intelligence, supporting centers of excellence

The Syrian delegation participating in activities of the 41st session of the General Conference of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) met with the Organization ‘s Assistant Director-General Shamila Nair-Bedouelle.

 

The two sides agreed to cooperate in the field of developing artificial intelligence education and supporting centers of excellence, particularly in the field of mathematics, robotics and physics as well as improving science learning using 3D printing.

 

The Syrian delegation, headed by Minister of Education, Darem Tabaa, discussed with Assistant Director-General of UNESCO for Culture, Ernesto Ottone, securing the necessary international support for the rehabilitation of archaeological areas and the restoration of archaeological sites’ stolen antiquities and concern for intangible heritage.
