Syria welcomes Algiers Declaration on Palestinian reunification

Damascus, SANA- Syria welcomed the “Declaration of Algiers” emanating from “Reunification Conference for Achieving Palestinian National Unity” .

 

“Syria asserts that this declaration is in the interest of uniting the Palestinian rank,” Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said Sunday in a statement.

 

“Syria highly appreciates and support the initiative of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which was the basis for this declaration and its positive results in the Palestinian arena,” the statement read.

 

The statement affirmed that this meeting is in the interest of uniting the various Palestinian ranks and consolidates the strength of the Palestinian people in resisting Israeli Occupation to establish the independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem (al-Quds) as its capital.
