Syria wins new medals in Thailand International Swimming Championship

Bangkok, SANA- Syrian swimmer Omar Abbas won two (Gold and Silver) medals in Thailand international swimming championship qualifying for the world championship.

 

Abbas won the gold medal of the 200m freestyle race with a time of 1.50.51 minute and the silver medal of the 100m freestyle race with a time of 51.00 sec.

 

Swimmer Abbas won the gold medal of the 50m freestyle on Friday with a record time of 23.72 seconds.

 

Abbas will participate in the competition 400m freestyle race on Sunday.
