Syrian basketball team beats Bahraini counterpart in World Cup qualifiers

Syrian national basketball team beat its Bahraini counterpart by 80/64 within the second window of the World Cup qualifiers in a match that brought them together on Thursday in the Bahraini capital of Manama.

The Syrian team advanced in the first quarter by 19/7 points and finished the second quarter and the first half of the match with 20 points difference.

The team has lost to Kazakhstan when the two teams played in the Kazakh capital of Nur-Sultan by 74-84.
