Syrian-Cuban talks on cooperation in Health and pharmaceutical industry

Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba Dr. Idris Mayya and chairman of the Business Group of the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries of Cuba” BioCubaFarma” Eduardo Martinez Diaz, discussed means to enhancing cooperation between both countries in the health field.

 

The meeting took place at the headquarters of BioCubaFarma Group in Havana.

 

It dealt with cooperation mechanism at the Health and pharmaceutical industry sectors, especially in the field of vaccines against the Coronavirus.

 

Dr. Mayya hailed the remarkable progress made by the Cuban pharmaceutical industry, mainly in the field of the production of vaccines against the Coronavirus, underlining the necessity of cooperation between both countries in this field, specifically in light of the current conditions facing the whole world.
