Havana, SANA-Syrian Embassy called on the Syrian community in Cuba and in the Latin states to donate for those affected by the earthquake that rocked the country and resulted in hundreds of victims.
“Owing to the situation our country is experiencing after the earthquake that left hundreds of victims, in addition to huge damage to the infrastructure, the Embassy of the Syria in Havana calls on all expatriates and expatriate activists residing in Cuba, the Bahamas, Dominica, Jamaica and Panama to participate and show solidarity with their families in Syria, and give a helping hand to console them and alleviate their suffering, by contributing to this national effort, and taking the initiative to donate in the Embassy building in Havana” The Embassy said in a statement.
