“Syrian women producers” Market opens for public at Hijaz station in Damascus

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Syrian Women producers market, which is organized by the Syrian Company for Crafts, one of the programs of the Syrian Trust for Development, opened for public on Monday in Damascus Hall at al-Hijaz station.

Executive Director of the Syrian Craft Company, Alaa Arab, said that the 4-day exhibition aims to encourage small business owners among women to continue their work and consolidate their image in society as ladies who are capable of production, creativity and innovation despite all challenges.

“The market highlights the work of Syrian female producers and encourages them to start their projects with simple projects and small capital to contribute to supporting the national economy, in addition to reviving the renewed spirit of traditional handicrafts and opening horizons for craftswomen.” Arab said.
