A Palestinian teenager sustained an injury from Israeli gunfire and others suffocated from teargas today during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Azzun, in the occupied West Bank province of Qalqilia, according to local sources.

Witnesses told WAFA that confrontations broke out in the town shortly following the funeral procession of slain Mohammad Saleem, who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces at the entrance to the town yesterday.

During the confrontations, Israeli occupation soldiers shot a 17-year-old teenager with a live bullet in his knee, the sources said. The teenager was rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
