Temperatures above average, weak shower chance

Temperatures will remain from 2 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a weak low pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

 

The skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a weak shower chance over the southeastern and al-Jazeera regions, according to the Meteorology Department.

 

At night, the weather will be cold, and frost is expected over the mountains, while fog is expected in the central and al-Qalamoun regions and in the Eastern Ghouta.

 

The wind will be northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

 

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/5, Daraa 17/6, Homs 14/4, Lattakia 20/13, Aleppo 13/4 and Deir Ezzor 16/3.
