Temperatures around average, skies partly cloudy

Temperatures will remain around average as the country is affected by a superficial high pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

 

The skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, and the weather will be cold at night, while fog and frost are expected over the mountains and in some inland areas, according to the bulletin of the Meteorology Department.

 

The wind will be of changeable direction to northeasterly with a low speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

 

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/3, Daraa 15/3, Homs 10/3, Tartous 20/8, Aleppo 12/1 and Deir Ezzor 14/1.
