Temperatures to drop, a chance for showers

Temperatures will continue to drop gradually to become from 1 to 3 degrees below average in most areas as the country is affected by a weak low pressure accompanied southwestern air currents in the upper layers of atmosphere.

 

The skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, and there will be a chance for showers over the northern and the coastal areas, while the weather will be relatively cold at night, particularly over the mountains, according to the Meteorology Department bulletin.

 

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts sometimes, while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

 

Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in several Syrian provinces as follows: Homs 11mm, Hama 6 mm, Tartous 9mm, Lattakia 5mm and Idleb 2mm.

 

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/13, Daraa 25/13, Homs 2316, Lattakia 26/18, Aleppo 25/17 and Deir Ezzor 28/18.
