Temperatures to drop, showers expected over al-Jazeera region

Temperatures will be from 1 to 3 degrees below average as the country affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

 

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a chance of rain showers over al-Jazeera region at night, and it will be relatively cold in most regions.

 

The wind will be westerly to north westerly between low to moderate in speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

 

The expected temperatures in some major cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/8, Homs 19/7 ,Tartous 22/14 ,Lattakia 22/13   ,Aleppo  19/7 ,Hama 19/6  .
