Abu Dhabi:Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, attended a reception hosted by Lutfullah Goktas, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the UAE, in celebration of Türkiye's National Day.

According to Wam, the event held on Thursday evening in Abu Dhabi was attended by officials, members of both Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE, and members of the Turkish community.

During his remarks, Ambassador Goktas highlighted the advanced stage of cooperation and strategic partnership between the UAE and Türkiye. He emphasized that the close ties between the leadership of both countries, along with reciprocal visits and regular high-level engagement, have strengthened mutual trust and opened new avenues for cooperation.

Goktas also noted that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two nations has greatly contributed to the growth in bilateral trade and has created more opportunities for their business communities. He reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to cooperation in key sectors, including energy, technology, and culture, to further shared interests and support continued growth and prosperity.
