Al-Amarah, The security forces in Maysan arrested a person accused of theft of mobile phones in the large Amarah market.
The Maysan Police Command said in a statement, a copy of which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received: “The Anti-crime detachments, during their roaming in the public markets, were able to monitor and apprehend a thief caught in the act while he was stealing a mobile phone from a shop in the large Amarah market in the center of Maysan Governorate.”
It added: Through the investigation with the accused, he confessed to committing several thefts of mobile phones from the center, and districts of the governorate, and several mobile phones were seized that were in his possession, indicating that his statements were primitive and judicially approved.
