Baghdad, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein received the US United States Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, the results of the visit conducted by the Minister to Washington and the ways to follow up the outputs of the results of the visit were discussed, and the two sides emphasized the need to create a subscribed mechanism to follow up the desired results from the visit.
The two sides touched on the issue of the suspension of Iranian-American discussions, especially after the visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, to Baghdad on Wednesday.
