Baghdad, The Parliamentary State of Law Coalition bloc hosted today, Speaker of the Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi.
The media office of the State of Law Coalition stated that during the meeting, they discussed developments in the political and security situation in the country, and the work of the House of Representatives during the coming period.
The MPs stressed the importance of activating the legislative and oversight role of the Parliament, and coordinating positions and cooperation among the political forces, in order to issue legislation that affects the needs of the Iraqi street.
For his part, the Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed the need to identify draft laws that have not been approved so far and to set a timetable for their approval, and the keenness of the parliament presidency to cooperate with the parliamentary blocs in order for the parliament to be representative of all the people.
