THE SUB-COMMITTEES CONTINUED TO STUDY THE PROPOSAL TO IMPOSE SEVERE PENALTIES ON SMUGGLERS OF SUBSIDIZED GOODS

The subcommittee emanating from the joint parliamentary committees held a session, at ten o’clock this afternoon, headed by Representative Samir Al-Jisr and attended by Representatives: Muhammad Al-Hajjar, Alan Aoun and Jihad Al-Samad. Judge Ayman Ahmed and Judge Angela Dagher also attended from the Ministry of Justice.

 

Following the session, the committee issued the following statement: “The subcommittee emanating from the joint parliamentary committees continued the discussion of the proposed law aimed at imposing severe penalties on smugglers of subsidized goods, and no amendment was made, provided that it continues to complete the discussion with the proposal in other sessions after the holidays.”
