The Turkish Minister: The number of earthquake victims has risen to 43,000 and 556

Istanbul, The Turkish Minister of Interior, Suleiman Soylu, announced that the number of victims of the earthquake that struck southern Turkey at dawn on the sixth of this month has risen to 43, 556 people.

Suleiman Soylu said in a televised interview with the Turkish news channel TRT that the rate of damage assessment in some of the states hit by the earthquake ranges between 75-80 %, indicating that 750,000 independent sections, including commercial areas, were damaged.
