Baghdad, The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Affairs and Legal Affairs, Omar Al-Barzanji, met the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Iraq, Ahmed Amjad Ali, at his request, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.
The ministry said in a statement, “The meeting dealt with discussing and enhancing cooperation between the two countries, and discussing some issues of common interest, in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries, including the conclusion of mutual support deals between the two countries in nomination for positions in international organizations.”
For his part, the Pakistani ambassador thanked and appreciated the warm reception and the opportunity for this meeting, stressing the importance of cooperation in all fields to serve the two friendly countries.
