Amman, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Makram Al-Qaisi, on Thursday, attended the signing of two new agreements for charter flights from Poland and Bulgaria, which will carry 4,020 passengers on board to Jordan.

Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) Managing Director Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat, Jordan’s Ambassador to Germany, Yousef Bataineh, and Counselor Hisham Abbadi, attended the signing ceremony held on the sidelines of the ITB Berlin 2023, the world’s largest tourism trade fair.

Also, Jordan yesterday signed 4 charter flights agreements targeting a number of countries, including Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and several other countries, with an expected number of flights of up to 57 flights and nearly 10,000 tourists to the city of Aqaba.

Al-Qaisi underlined the importance of signing these agreements to serve tourism in the Kingdom, pointing out that the JTB is keen to support charter flights within incentive programs and facilities that contribute to enhancing tourist attraction to Jordan.

JTB Managing Director commended the signing of agreements to serve the Kingdom’s tourism affairs, indicating that tourism to Jordan is witnessing a positive transformation, in addition to the partnerships that have been achieved that support tourism to the Kingdom and encourage tourists to come to Jordan.
