The meeting was attended by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el Anani, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization Abdel Moneim el Tarras, Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone Yehia Zaki, in addition to other senior officials, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said in a statement on Tuesday 8/2/2022.

Head of Egypt’s Commercial Office in Moscow Yasser Mostafa also took part in the meeting via video conference.

Gamea said the meeting was meant to maintain coordination among the various ministries and authorities concerned as regards preparations related to Egypt’s pavilion at the forum.

The Egyptian pavilion, which will be set up on an area of 406 square meters, is set to reflect the current economic achievements made by the Egyptian State and its aspiration for the future, the minister added.

It will also highlight Egypt’s historical identity, she said.

Gamea noted that the pavilion is scheduled to be visited by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, which she said will provide it with further momentum.
