The Anatolia Agency reported that the Turkish city of Antalya received nearly 8,000 tourists during the first 3 months of this year, according to “Novosti” news agency.

The Culture and Square Authority of the Antalya Governor Office explained that the city’s airports received between the first of January to March 31, 2023, more than 797 thousand tourists, at the beginning of a promising year for the tourism season, compared to the first 3 months of the year 2019, where the airports received at the time 579,478 tourists.

It should be noted that the largest number of tourists coming to Turkey during this period are the Russians, at a rate of 213,101 thousand tourists, followed by the Germans at a rate of 169,228 thousand tourists, followed by the British at a rate of 88,572 thousand tourists.

The list of the first ten countries in the largest tourist flow to Turkey, also includes Poland, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Ukraine and Denmark.
