Two silver medals for Syria at Arab Swimming Championship, UAE

Syrian swimmers Ayman Kelzieh and Omar Abbas, gained two silver medals in the 50-meter butterfly and 200-meter freestyle races, respectively, in the Arab Championship which is being held currently in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 174 swimmers from 16 Arab countries.

 

Swimmer Kelzieh gained the silver medal in the 50m butterfly race with a time of 24.52 seconds, while Abbas gained the silver medal in the 200m freestyle after recording a time of 1.49.15 minutes.

 

On Sunday, swimmer Inanna Suleiman gained the gold medal in the 1500m freestyle race after recording a time of 17.53 minutes.
