RAMALLAH: Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, said that the two-state solution is the sole way to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and end the occupation.
The Secretary-General said that all countries around the world have recognized the two-state solution expect Israel, the occupying power.
Aboul Gheit affirmed that the deliberate massive destruction due to the Israeli ongoing shelling in different areas across Gaza Strip will remain for decades.
Aboul Gheit praised the Arab League`s position in rejection of the Israeli threats to invade the city of Rafah, which has become the last refuge for more than a million and a half Palestinians away from this brutal aggression that claimed so far the lives of 29,000 people.
He urgently called on international organizations around the world to stop this barbaric military operation in the city of Rafah, which will only drag the region into catastrophic escalation.
