Two youths were today injured by Israeli army gunfire during confrontations in the town of Beita, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, according to local and medical sources.

They told WAFA that soldiers broke into the town, provoking confrontations with the youths.

The soldiers fired live bullets at the youths, injuring one in the hand and another in the chest.

They were rushed to hospital, said the sources.
