RABAT: UAE Accountability Authority and the Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Morocco signed here a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation and partnership in the field of supreme public finances auditing .

Inked by Humaid Obaid Abushibs, Chairman of the UAE Accountability Authority, and Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Accounts, the MoU will contribute to the development of cooperation in the field of supreme audit, to enable them to achieve common visions and objectives.

The signatories are also committed to implementing joint programmes aimed at sharing experience and best practices, notably in the fields of professional capacity-building and training of trainers, as well as working methods and their adaptation to the national specificities of the two institutions.

Both parties expressed their shared commitment to making the necessary efforts to implement the provisions of this memorandum, in line with the concerns and interests of both institutions, with
the aim of enhancing the impact of their work on the lives of citizens in both countries.
