Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli attack targeting the State of Qatar, describing it as an irresponsible escalation. The UAE emphasized that the attack is a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and a serious breach of international law and the United Nations Charter, posing a threat to regional and international security and stability.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed full solidarity with Qatar. He underscored the UAE's unwavering support for efforts to protect the security and safety of Qatar's citizens and residents, stressing the necessity for an immediate cessation of military escalation.

Sheikh Abdullah warned that continued escalatory actions could undermine regional security and lead to dangerous repercussions for international peace and security. He urged the international community, particularly the Security Council, to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities in deterring Israel and halting its attacks.
