ABU DHABI: The UAE conveyed its sincere condolences and expressed its solidarity with the People’s Republic of China over the victims of floods in southern Guangdong Province caused by heavy rainfall, and tornado that impacted Guangzhou, which resulted in a number of deaths, and the evacuation of thousands of citizens.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy with the government and people of China, and to the families of the victims.
