ABU DHABI, 9th March 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) organised a visit to its Mobile Court for students from the Faculty of Law of the UAE University to introduce them to the qualitative legal and sensitisation services rendered by this court. The visit aimed to enrich their knowledge, improve their skills and encourage them to be creative and distinguished in their future field of work. The visit, which was attended by about 196 male and female students, in addition to a number of members of the university’s faculty and administration, is part of the strategic objectives of honing skills and competencies and increasing performance effectiveness to train cadres capable of increasing national competitiveness and developing institutional performance. During the visit, the students were given a comprehensive explanation of the integrated services delivered by the Mobile Court, thanks to a state-of-the-art technical and technological infrastructure that ensures the speedy completion of all judicial and legal proceedings and the finalisation of all transactions without the need to appear at the court headquarters. The students of the Faculty of Law also learned about the process applied to hear collective labour cases when the court moves to the labour camps, to hold its hearings and render its decisions with expedited enforcement, so that the claimants obtain their dues in record time, in accordance with the laws and legislations governing the labour market in the UAE and which guarantee the rights of all parties. The visit also provided an opportunity to introduce the remote litigation mechanism implemented in Abu Dhabi courts, which generated a lot of interest and interaction from the students, who asked many questions and enquired about the various judicial and legal services, and were given the appropriate answers.
