UMM AL QAIWAIN: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, issued Law No.1 of 2024 on restructuring the Umm Al Qaiwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The law aims to enhance Umm Al Qaiwain’s economic standing and support its goals and vision by advancing industries, fostering new and promising sectors, and attracting diverse investments to bolster the emirate’s economic growth.
The law repeals Law No.1 of 2007 concerning the Umm Al Qaiwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its amendments, as well as any provisions in any other legislation conflicting with the provisions of the new law.
The regulations, decisions, and instructions issued in the implementation of Law No.1 for 2007, referred to herein, will continue to be in force if they do not conflict with the provisions of the new law until new regulations, decisions, and instructions are issued to replace them.
The new law will be published in the Official Gazette and come into force from the date o
f its publication.
