Kyiv– President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine received Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his accompanying delegation at the presidential headquarters in Kyiv today.

At the outset of the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Ukrainian President and the government and people of Ukraine. President Zelenskyy sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince, the government, and the Saudi people.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the opportunities for their development. They also discussed several regional and international issues and developments of common concern. The Minister of Foreign Affairs renewed the Kingdom’s keenness and support for all international efforts to resolve the Ukrainian-Russian crisis politically. Additionally, he mentioned that the Kingdom will continue its efforts to contribute to alleviating the human effects resulting from the crisis.

The meeting was attended by the Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah; CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad; Saudi Ambassador to Ukraine Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Mesher Al-Jebreen, and Director General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Dawood.
