UNITED NATIONS — The United Nations announced an emergency aid appeal on Friday, requesting $1.2 billion to assist approximately 2.7 million people in Gaza and the West Bank.
According to Jordan News Agency, this funding is crucial to meet the needs of the entire population of Gaza and half a million people in the occupied West Bank. This appeal follows an initial request for $294 million made on October 12 to support nearly 1.3 million individuals.
