RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces today detained eight Palestinians in a series of raids across the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS)

In the central occupied West Bank, Israeli forces raided the village of Silwad, east of Ramallah city, where they detained two Palestinians while they were passing through a military checkpoint near the neighboring town of Yabrud.

In Jericho, two Palestinians were rounded up by Israeli occupation forces after breaking into Ein el-Sultan camp, northwest of the city.

Furthermore, intense conformations broke out between Israeli forces and local residents during the raid.

In Jenin, in the north of the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces rounded up four people while they were passing at military checkpoints.
