Upon directives of President al-Assad, Electricity Company cadres, who exerted extraordinary efforts to repair power grid failures, honored

Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, the Electricity Ministry has honored a group of the Electricity Company cadres in the Syrian provinces, including technicians and workers who have exerted extraordinary efforts to repair power grid failures, which were happened due to the bad weather conditions.

The electricity cadres efforts have contributed to maintaining the components of the electricity power system.

Director of Electricity Transmission General Establishment Fawwaz al-Zaher pointed out, in a statement, the large dangers that maintenance workshop workers are exposed to in order to repair the electrical faults, noting that this gesture is an evidence of President alAssad’s care for the efforts of those who are devoted to their work.

Al-Zaher added that the honoring will increase our intention to work for facing the challenges despite of the difficult circumstances which we are suffering from and to exert our efforts to maintain the electricity system, asserting that it constitutes an incentive for other workers.

The workshops affiliated to the Electricity Ministry have recently exerted large efforts to reach the areas where the electricity has failed and fix them despite of the heavy snowfall and the difficulty of the work in a number of provinces, particularly in the western countryside of Homs and Sweida. The workshops have accomplished repairing the electricity grid failures resulted from the bad weather conditions and managed to restore electricity.
